The Trastevere Italian Leather Briefcase Bag has been completely rebuilt from the ground up with a thicker, more supple hand-stained leather plus a few extra features including a back pocket and pen holders. It’s designed for lawyers and executives who need a quality leather bag with enough room to carry all their important documents.
This leather briefcase bag has a ton of features. It’s made with full-grain vegetable-tanned calfskin leather and brass or stainless steel hardware. The leather was hand tanned, Etruscan style, in Santa Croce to soften, patina, and develop a silky touch. Only vegetable extracts and natural oils were used to create rich, vibrant color and a tender, semi-gloss finish.
The interior is divided into five compartments for easy organization of pens, a PDA, and a mobile phone, and is big enough to hold a laptop, files, and notebooks. It’s lined with 8-oz cotton duck canvas made in South Carolina which is very durable. The top swings open for easy access to all of your files, and the contents stay secure due to a locking buckle strap.
It has been designed to look professional, yet endure everyday wear and tear with ease. This combination of Italian vegetable-tanned leather, Italian craftsmanship, and U.S.-made canvas lining make the Trastevere Italian Leather Briefcase Bag not only beautiful, but durable and lightweight as well.

Shipping was very fast. I am pleased with the briefcase overall. The inner lining color is more subdued than what was pictured. The quality of the leather is very good. The case should last several years of hard use. The interior pockets of leather for two pens is very tightly stitched and the vertical 3 business cards slots of leather has stitching only at the bottom (?). I’m not sure how useful the interior pockets will be. This briefcase in brown is sharp looking. I believe the black would be an even sharper looking case.
